Kofax Transform 2009 Events Draw Record Attendance

End User Customer and Channel Partner Registrations Increased By 45
Percent

IRVINE, Calif. — Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document driven
business process automation solutions, today announced that its recent
Transform 2009 Americas and EMEA end user customer and channel partner
conference attracted over 800 registrations representing a 45 percent
increase over the same events in the prior year.

For the first time Transform 2009 included the participation of Kofaxs
valued network of global channel partners and end user customers across
multiple vertical industries spanning banking, insurance, healthcare,
government and manufacturing. Combined, the two events drew over 250 end
user registrations, representing approximately 30 percent of the total
attendance compared to approximately 30 end user customer attendees in
the prior year. Based on a post event survey 89 percent of the delegates
agreed that the conference delivered the expected value and 72 percent
indicated that they will recommend attending the next Transform events
to their colleagues.

The events focused on providing participants with practical strategies,
insights to best practices relating to the implementation of document
driven process automation solutions, hands on product certification and
training and thought leadership presentations covering a wide range of
industry specific applications.

The high attendance, especially by end user customers, speaks to the
global demand for our document driven process automation solutions,

Transform 2009 provided an ideal forum for organizations to identify
and pursue ways of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, improving
productivity and generating fast ROIs.

and we saw meaningful value in the customer briefings and professional
networking this event offered.

As part of the conference, Kofax also announced the six winners of the
Transform 2009 Partner Awards. For the Americas, IKON Office Solutions
earned the Top Kofax Reseller Partner award for highest overall sales
performance during the year and Ricoh Americas Corporation won the
Largest Transaction Award for securing a large sale at ADT, Americas
number one provider of electronic security systems and services. RPI
Consultants was named Top Kofax Newcomer, which is given to a new
channel partner with the years highest sales performance. In EMEA,
Docspro B.V. won Top Kofax Reseller Partner, Diagonal Solutions the
Largest Transaction Award and GPI Advanced Information the Top Kofax
Newcomer honor.
